The department of Information Technology is a newly formed department at Jana Bhawana Campus. It offers computer application courses to address the thrust areas in Science and technology. In appreciation of its growing importance in business and the industrial scenario, the campus established a Department of Computer Applications to facilitate research and human resources development in the computer application subjects. In addition to regular laboratories, the department has developed MAT Lab (ML) – that helps students to learn mathematics through software and Data Analytics & Research Lab (DAR).

The Department of Computer Application prepares students to design, develop and implement software applications enriching their software and hardware skills. It offers BCA course at present. The BCA curriculum helps students develop technical, managerial and soft skills significant for careers in the IT industry.
